Whiteboard Animation video company Ydraw announces some of the key points to why the brain loves video, and why video is so important for internet marketing.
Whiteboard Animation
Videos are extremely helpful in conveying the atmosphere and emotion of any message you are trying to deliver.
Videos are extremely helpful in conveying the atmosphere and emotion of any message you are trying to deliver. As Ydraw has pointed out, visuals through video take people to a new way of thinking, where people can be enlightened, and their senses can be heightened. Videos are much more likely to gain a connection with the viewer than any other medium.
Visuals have proven to increase consumer interaction by presenting information in the form of pictures and images, and whiteboard animation video goes even farther than this in providing the story for the viewer, allowing a shorter time frame of viewing and a more appealing dynamic. Videos lead the brain to remember things much easier than just text, or text and pictures.
The brain does not like boring, casting out anything it feels unimportant or unentertaining. It asks certain “caveman” questions every day that Ydraw looks to answer in their videos and script writing. These simple questions can lead to the best ideas for awhiteboard animation video that will convert.
It is important to get creative with storytelling in video when looking to appeal to the brain, as well as tell stories and entertain. There are three major story plots that are important to base a story on, including “the challenge plot”, “the creativity plot”, and “the connection plot”. More information on these storytelling methods can be viewed on Ydraw’s site, with extensive information on script writing for a video.
The last important point that Ydraw points out in their article on how a video can be loved by the brain is by using repetition. The brain loves repetition, just like a popular song on the radio. Things are more easily remembered if they are repeated more than once.
Brains love video, and Ydraw looks to create the most compelling and creative videos on the market to target the best learning and entertaining experience for the brain.

Bop Design Discusses QR Codes and How B2B Firms Can Use Them
We see more and more businesses utilizing QR codes but there is rarely optimal implementation.
San Diego, CA September 27, 2012
With mobile browsing reaching 12% of all web related activity in September 2012, businesses are becoming increasingly aware that they need to focus on mobile marketing. Bop Design, a San Diego marketing agency, has been helping more and more B2B businesses build a stronger mobile presence. Bop Design Business Principal, Jeremy Durant, comments, "The trend is toward responsive design. The design of a business' website should respond to the platform being utilized - smart phone, tablet, laptop, etc. It used to be that you had a separate mobile website and main website. With new customer demands, responsive design is needed." Durant discusses how mobile usage and responsive design presents a new way to engage with clients. "We see more and more businesses utilizing QR codes but there is rarely optimal implementation." Bop Design discusses how mobile browsing and QR codes presents an excellent opportunity for B2B firms to more effectively engage with prospects.
What’s a QR Code? QR Code is “Quick-Response Code.” QR Codes are two-dimensional bar codes that are used to point people to websites, landing pages and other forms of digital content. In most cases, users use a mobile device to scan those codes and once it’s complete, a user is transported to the content specified by that code.
How does a QR Code work? A business can present an offer such as a coupon through a QR code. A customer can scan this code with their phone. This takes them to a coupon page where they can download it, print it and redeem it.
How are QR Codes misused? "Too many QR codes just send a scanner to a firm's website and nothing else," says Durant. "Many businesses were just proud to have a QR code, even though it did very little to engage a potential customer." Bop Design strongly encourages businesses to only use a QR code if they can offer something enticing to a prospect.
How can a B2B firm use a QR code? Many B2B firms have an opportunity to utilize a QR code through print advertising and direct mail. "The best execution of a QR code is when a firm offers a white paper, guide, resource that resonates with their ideal prospective client." A firm can run an advertisement in a magazine with the call to action being to download a resource through the QR code.
Sales Benefit of QR codes? Print advertisements and direct mail can drive people to a firm's website but many times, a business does not have any way to capture these leads and have the sales team follow up. Durant suggests, "A QR code is best utilized when a QR code scanner must complete a form to access the offer. The form must be short - take minimal time to complete. A completed form coming from a QR code scan can generate quality leads for a sales department."
In the future, consumers will see more and more QR codes. The Los Angeles Times recently reported that QR scans "have soared to 2 million a month, nearly double the rate of last year and up from 80,000 a month in 2009,” making them one of the hottest trends in marketing today. With all these QR codes competing for a customer's attention, it is important for the QR code to be the right offer for the right audience.

Intel makes the best PC processors around. That being said, we all can’t afford the $300 Intel demands for their latest processors. That’s why I go with AMD and their very affordable high-quality CPU line. Turns out that my frugality when it comes to CPUs nets me and other AMD CPU users a boatload of Android apps.
AMD and BlueStacks announced a partnership today that will bring 500,000 Android apps to PCs powered by AMD CPUs. The two forces have launched the AMD App Zone where users can grab the virtualization software required to run Android apps on the PC alongside a number of free apps. Most of the apps are games, but there are quite a few general purpose apps as well.
“BlueStacks’ cross-platform innovation bridges the Android and x86 application ecosystems, providing new opportunities for developers and better experiences for users,” said Manju Hegde, corporate vice president, Heterogeneous Applications and Developer Solutions at AMD. “By collaborating with BlueStacks, we are enabling software developers to more easily tap into the full capabilities of AMD’s products, and providing millions of consumers with great experiences as they can now run Android apps on AMD-powered devices.”
It should be noted that the Android apps are only available to users running Windows 7 or Windows 8. Users are also only required to have an AMD CPU to run Android apps.
“As the engine behind the AMD AppZone Player, we are providing a potent combination of award-winning software optimized for AMD’s industry-leading hardware. Consumers can now enjoy their favorite mobile apps on the larger, more immersive screen of their PC,” said Rosen Sharma, CEO of BlueStacks. “With BlueStacks technology, app developers can rest assured their Android apps will run directly on Windows without any code change. We’ve made it easy for all.”
Unfortunately, neither company clarifies if these apps will be modified in any way to be better on the PC. Can users up the resolution of Android apps to take advantage of larger displays on the PC? Will controls be optimized for the PC, or will PC users have to replicate touch movements with the mouse? We’ve reached out to AMD for clarification and will update when we hear back.
UPDATE:
An AMD spokesperson just got back to us. They said that PC users can scale Android apps up to 1920×1080. Unfortunately, it’s not true full screen mode as a window must remain open for key functionalities that are accessed in the window. They also said that AMD has optimized its graphics technologies to make the scaling as smooth as possible.
As for controls, they say that the BlueStacks Layercake technology features support and is optimized for touch, keyboard/mouse, and various movement sensors.
Twitter users need to be on the lookout for a new round of malware-carrying spam messages that are coming from compromised accounts, possibly even from Twitter profiles they trust.
If you receive a direct message suggesting that someone has posted or tagged you in a Facebook video, beware. Clicking on the link could infect your computer with malware. According to the Sophos Naked Security blog, the direct messages are not originating from spam accounts, but instead compromised accounts of friends - which makes it even more likely that a careless user could fall victim.
Although the messages vary, the common thread between all of them is that they contain a "facebook.com/________" link and mention that a video of you has been posted on Facebook. "Your in this facebook.com/________ video, LOL" reads one spam message, while another says "you even see him taping u, that's awful."
When an unsuspecting user clicks on the link, they are shown a YouTube video player and prompted with a message that says, "and update for YouTube player is needed. It says that it will install Flash Player 10.1 onto your computer, but instead installs "Troj/Mdrop-EML, a backdoor Trojan that can also copy itself to accessible drives and network shares," according to Sophos.
Of course, clicking on any link in a direct message that links you offsite is risky, and the fact that these messages are coming from trusted sources makes it especially tricky. However, the fact that the messages contain various misspellings and gramatical errors should suggest to the discerning user that they might not be legit.

When I Learn To Fly...
I am a well crafted, amply blessed, lovingly painted, hand molded soul.
Made by ONE... as a unique entity in a universe of unique entities.
For the time being I am apprenticing in the safety of a molecular body,
( I look at it as protective gear for a game called life.)
I am charged with for the most part positive energy,
which I learn to regenerate from both heaven and earth.
Thus I learn to honor Father and Mother.
I am a replica of the universe.
I demonstrate to myself and to those who look at me,
the unity and balance that we all are.
Many in one... and one in many.
Working in conjunction yet as individuals; ever moving, ever evolving, ever changing, ever growing and ever seeking universal balance.
I am learning to be in this fluidity without being a harm.
Kicking at the "Oneness" .
Causing it to be off balance by my choices.
I learn the universal rule, "seek balance as a singular entity".
I learn not to be a free-radical that threatens.
I learn there is nothing new under the sun,
all is cyclical, for us all to learn.
I am taught that as bacteria threatens a molecular body, (as my eyes behold)....
my choices threaten the heavenly body, (as my spiritual eye beholds.)
I am as you are... and as all children born are;
proof that our creator has not lost faith in us.
Has not given up on mankind.
That all is not for nothing.
I am freedom of choice.
I am learning by freedom of choice.
I am free to build or destroy.
I am free to in a molecular state see the consequences of these choices.
Feel the consequences.
This choice is not infringed upon by He who crafted me.
It is His tool, as a wise parent, which allows me to taste, test, and see the integrity of positive by knowing negative.
For how then can I know the fullness of joy unless I have something to measure it with?
How then can I appreciate my soul unless it is bound by my molecular shroud?
By the wisdom of ONE, I am ever growing to a point where I will no longer need my shroud of a body to protect me.
I will have learned to be a heavenly body....
I will have learned to make my foot print light.
Gonna lay my head down in the sand, let the wind blow over my face. Gonna render my body to the land, and give it my sweet tears to taste. Gonna lay my sword down on the soil I am not going to swing it no more, I have nothing to show for all the toil, been stalemated , “settling the score.” Gonna put my hands behind my back, and let the will of heaven flow, pray for some mercy to put me on track, and refresh a weary parched soul. Going to pick up a staff to hold instead, and try to walk a mile in bare feet. Gonna listen to what history has said and pound my drum to a different beat. Hold words in my mouth of a different plan, and learn a whole different speech. Gonna hold them to action as best as I can… this time I gonna try PEACE!
There is a claim that miracles are the fancy of imaginations; and indeed they will be if you are not open to receive them. If you hold no faith, if you do not use your eyes to see them, if your definition is to tightly wrapped. All these blocking the vital energy that all miracles flow on.
You can not see if you do not look!. No one will hear you if you do not speak. Indeed you will not be tested , if you do not stand up for something, but again.... you will never need a miracle either! Nor will you experience the euphoria of being blessed by one , unless you put yourself out there in faith, standing firm in your convictions.
Life is a miracle in it's self, and you would be squandering your life unless you put yourself out there as well
It is my experience that It all comes full circle. My friends give me as much thought and care as I try to spread to them, and our corner of the world is a little brighter for it.
This is the way I look at it, we have only two options when it comes to our impact on our world; we can either be a positive force, and if all falls flat on it's face, at least we have no regrets about our part in it. Or we can impact it negatively; with our fears, disappointments, shallowness, self-gratification, (even complaicency holds a negative impact.)
We live in the energy that our efforts, and words have created. And this energy encompasses not only us, but spreads with momentum to all those around us.
Every morning I have a choice to play a role, small or not, in the molding of this planet I share . I choose to build, and not destroy! And believe me there are mornings when it is a hard pressed conscious effort, ...cirrcumstances often bite... but my dear and precious friends, never fail pick me up when I need it by spreading a laugh, or a warm thought; and round and round it goes. It is like cultivating a garden, and reaping it's blessings on a daily basis! Afterall is that not what brotherhood is all about?
Take care ... give good....and have a beautiful day!
Even if all you have is a smile, even if all you can spare is a dime, even if there is only one good word left on your lips- GIVE IT!
Don't worry about it's loss, give without expectations. Guaranteed a grateful universe will give back. Remember, what may seem insignificant and trite to you can mean the world of difference to someone else.
Why expect a smile, if you do not give one? Why look for compassion, if you do not give it yourself? Why even speak, if there is nothing good to say? Why then even wonder where your blessingd have melted away to?
When you think you are but just one too insignificant to make any difference, remember momentum can start with just one push, and it can take just one, to bring down a mountain slide.
Just something to think about....xoxoxoxox... Carla
If every eye would shed but one tear, if every heart would whisper just one prayer, just one line, for one brief moment in time it costing nothing but a little thought to care, and lift up a voice to a universal ear, how much better would the world be here?
If every tear drop were combined, if every prayer were of one mind, for the peace and love of mankind, what an ocean of healing we would all find.
If every heart could beat as one if every malicious intent became undone if even maybe just one for one brief moment in time, so we could taste what it could be, to be truely free, worry free , conscience free!
Would we return to the way we are, living so close with hearts so far, would we? If we could truly see... what it has cost for both you and me. What it has cost earth, sky and sea, Could we?
Fear not and do not fret! There is a plan for everything under the sun, .everything has it's own due time. A time line tailor made and personalized just for us; as part of the predetermined process for us to learn ,and to do what we must in order to grow into ourselves. Do not fret if something feels unaccomplished, incomplete, or unsettled. Give it time. Universal balance dictates a completion to everything. For there will be nothing hidden that will not come to light, nothing left empty that will not be filled... because the energy from yearning for completion, begs to a universe of boundless energy. And the universe will always answer!
I have learned to give without expeted returns. To stand up, regardless if I am the only one. That selflessness can be a very lonely virtue. I have learned regardless of the threats and blows, face the storm anyway. Look the snake in the eye. I have learned to be counted as singular more often than not. Not to let it discourage, but to be counted anyway. I have learned that it matters not how many have felt my touch but how well my touch was felt. that quality always outshines quantity. I have learned all these not to be a hero, not for price or reward, I have learned all these so I can....
Honor my Father.
The making of the “Golden Calf”
It was fashioned by those who truly wanted to believe. Were desperate to see; of the promises made for eternity. They longed for the promise of dark rich soil. Yet drowned in seemingly endless toil. They were torn by thistles and raked by thorns, defeated by crows , all lost and folorn Turned in disappointment and returned to dis-jointment. These were convinced He is just not comming . Blind they came and blind they remain.
It was fashioned by those who found life in their own hands. Rejecting natural order for their own desires and plans. They are careless, wreckless, greedy and guile, but seemingly sucessful all the while. Blind they came and blind they remain.
Dark is the land and dark are the people , dark are their hearts; all lost and feeble. For separation from God as we all know well, is it’s own special kind of hell. With no eyes and no ears how can these defend, from their own jagged paths with it’s endless twists and bends? Where the shadows of fear, and dissolusionment dwells; how can they protect from themselves?
“There is no God,” they sit and think. No one to comfort us, or give us drink. We must make and do everything of our own. For truly in this universe, we are all alone. Let us mold our own imaginations, fancies of gold. Let us offer it our lives, our toil, and our soul. It will return to us joy and blessings ten fold. Blind they remain... blinded by their gold.
And out of their golden creativity; they sought to find their own "happy." A reason to move forward, a reason to fight, a good replacement for God's fictatious light. They fooled themselves into thinking they were content and complete. And soon fashioned their own altars and their own merciless seats. They gave in to the words of the enemy of defeat.
Growing as cold as the idols that they made, with eyes focused on gain, they allowed their love of life to fade. With nothing to show for the souls that they gave; but trinkets and baubles that line their lonely graves.
